T3 Community Birthday Box Build
Join us in spreading birthday joy to local families in need!
This season, T3 Training is teaming up with The Dre Project to build 100 Birthday Boxes for families right here in Michigan. Each box includes everything needed for a simple, joy-filled birthday celebration — cake mix, frosting, candles, soda, a homemade card, and festive touches like balloons and noise makers.
Our members, friends, and community partners are coming together to collect donations and assemble boxes that will bring smiles to kids and families who might not otherwise get to celebrate.
How You Can Help
Donate Supplies
We’re collecting items like:
- Boxed cake mix
- Frosting
- Birthday candles
- Soda (like Sprite or 7Up)
- Disposable baking pans
- Homemade cards
- Balloons, noise makers, or small party items
You can drop off donations at the T3 studio during any class time.
Sponsor a Box
Can’t make it in? You can also sponsor a box with a cash donation — every $10 helps us fill one complete Birthday Box.
Join the Build Day!
We’ll wrap it all up with a community Birthday Box Build Day right here at T3! Come help us assemble and decorate the boxes together.

Why It Matters
The Dre Project began with one woman’s determination to turn heartbreak into hope. After the devastating loss of her sister, Andrea “Dre” Jackson, founder Jennifer Jackson created The Dre Project as a way to carry her sister’s light forward. What started as a tribute became a movement — one built on kindness, compassion, and connection.
Through grocery deliveries, meal programs, and community drives like this one, The Dre Project brings comfort and joy to families across Metro Detroit who are facing hardship. Each act of giving — whether it’s a warm meal or a Birthday Box — is a reminder that love can grow even from the hardest moments.
At T3, we believe in that same kind of strength and community. By helping us build 100 Birthday Boxes, you’re not just filling containers with cake mix and candles — you’re filling homes with laughter, hope, and the feeling that everyone deserves to be celebrated.
